# Home-Start Manchester > Home-Start Manchester is a charity (since 1997) supporting families with young children across Greater Manchester through trained volunteers and specialist programmes. Home-Start Manchester offers home-visiting support, group sessions, and specialist programmes for parents facing isolation, ill health, bereavement, or other challenges. Volunteers are local parents themselves, trained and DBS-checked. Referrals come from health visitors, GPs, social workers, and self-referrals. ## Pages - [Home](/): Overview of Home-Start Manchester's mission and services. - [Who We Support](/who-we-support): Families and circumstances we work with. - [Our Impact](/our-impact): Outcomes, statistics, and annual reports. - [About Us](/about): History, team, governance, and values. - [Volunteer](/volunteer): How to become a Home-Start volunteer. - [Referrers](/referrers): Information for professionals making referrals. - [Donate](/donate): Ways to support our work financially. - [Contact](/contact): Get in touch with the team. ## Programmes - [PAIRS](/programmes/pairs): Parents and Infants Relationship Support. - [Teenage Parent Project](/programmes/young-parents): Specialist support for parents under 25. - [Dad Matters](/programmes/dad-matters): Support for fathers and male carers. - [Virtual Support](/programmes/virtual-support): Remote family support. - [Thriving Babies](/programmes/thriving-babies): Early-years infant support. ## Optional - [Policies](/policies): Organisational policies and downloads. - [Privacy Policy](/privacy-policy): How we handle personal data. - [Media Consent](/media-consent): Photo and media consent form.
