Volunteer at our fundraisers

Volunteering for Home-Start Manchester is fun and rewarding and helps us make a difference by raising more funds to support families in our area.

Your time and talent is valuable in helping to support our fundraising work. We’re always looking for helpful and reliable volunteers, and we often only need an hour here or there on an adhoc basis, so it’s perfect if you work, are a student or just have a busy lifestyle! It gives you the opportunity to get involved in your local community and gain experience of working in the charity sector without too much of a time commitment.

Here are some of the typical ways you may end up volunteering to help us with our fundraising.

• Representing us at store collections or events.
• Running a raffle or tombola at one of our fundraising events.
• Speaking at an event about Home-Start Manchester.
