We’re recruiting for a new part-time Finance Officer

Home-Start Manchester are looking for an experienced finance professional – a self-starter with a passion for family support and the third sector – to join our small but dynamic team as Finance Officer

We are looking for someone of sufficient financial experience to help us manage, control and maximise the benefit potential of multiple funding streams from different funders so we can, together, make a bigger difference across Manchester.

This one-day-a-week, freelance position will take responsibility for our accounts, and all financial procedures and controls. They will work closely with the CEO on budgets and forecasting, and to produce management accounts for our board.

We’re looking for someone who ideally holds a recognised qualification and has at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Role title: Finance Officer
Contract: Freelance 6 month contract, 2 days per week for initial 4 week handover, reducing to 1 day per week minimum.
Start date: Immediate
Fee: £125-£150/day
Responsible to: CEO
Location: Our office (Cheetham Hill) and some home working as appropriateE
