We are always keen to welcome new volunteers to the team. Are you:
a parent or have parenting experience?
able to commit 2-3 hours per week?
able to attend an intensive induction training programme?
looking to return to work or study, or wanting to give something back to the community?
looking to gain new skills
All of our volunteers attend our Course of Preparation, the aim of the course is to build on the skills you already have as a parent or carer, and is not highly academic.
Our volunteers are then matched with one of our families and visit the family for 2-3 hours per week, providing practical and emotional support and making a huge difference to that families life.
Please visit our How to Volunteer for us… page for more information and details on how to become a Home-Start Manchester volunteer.

‘I get a lovely feeling of satisfaction knowing I am making a little difference in someone else’s life’ – Vicki, Home-Start Volunteer
